Introduction to BOCOM International

BOCOM international Holdings Company Ltd. is the international investment banking and securities business flagship of the Bank of Communications Co., Ltd.

With the approval of the People's Bank of China, the China's Securities Regulatory Commission and the Securities and Futures Commission in Hong Kong, BOCOM International Holdings Co. Ltd, former known as BCOM Securities Co. Ltd, commenced its business in September 1999.

To accomplish the Bank of Communications' business strategy and diversification needs, BCOM Securities Co. Ltd underwent a comprehensive business restructure in early 2007 and transformed into the BOCOM International group which is still wholly owned by the Bank of Communications. BOCOM International Holdings Co. Ltd has three wholly owned subsidiaries, namely BOCOM International (Asia) Limited, BOCOM International Securities Limited, and BOCOM International Asset Management Limited. Each subsidiary was specifically designed to focus on its own unique business, such as, investment banking, brokerage dealing and asset management.

BOCOM International is one of the largest investment banks and securities brokers in Hong Kong with China origin in terms of company size and market coverage. BOCOM International is also among one of the very first Hong Kong Stock Exchange Main Board listing sponsors and Takeover and Merger independent financial advisors.
