RSD10189: SA-VP, China Property Sector Coverage Analyst

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct due diligence on the sector and companies under coverage, including meeting with corporate management and doing site visits, checking with macro and industry data for updates on demand, supply, operating data, etc.

· Compile comprehensive sector research reports to analyze industry outlook and identify investment ideas

· Build financial models and conduct and update all valuation comparison for the stocks related to the sector(s) assigned

· Understand business models of various players in the industry and write detailed reports of stock coverage initiation to establish/update the target prices and earnings estimates of listed stocks for the sector assigned

· Write timely updates and update earnings estimates/target prices on company news and developments around the sector

· Engage in time-sensitive deal related projects to analyze and value companies that plan to be listed, and conduct marketing activities as needed

· Organize events to provide investors with access to corporate management and industry specialists

· Conduct meetings and provide investment recommendations on the China property sector to clients, predominantly institutional investors

· Represent our company as the sector industry expert to attend media interviews and events to enhance our brand image

· Attend and present ideas in morning meetings to our internal sales force

Requirements

· Master degree or above preferred

· Accounting designations (CPA/CA) and CFA qualification preferred

· Experience in covering the China property sector for about 2+ years, preferably with relevant educational / career background in the industry

· Excellent communicator to communicate effectively in written and verbal English and Mandarin

· Strong sense of responsibility, well organized and attention to details

· Ability to work effectively and independently in a highly confidential, fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines

· Excellent presentation skills
